What can you expect if you’re new to Boost Mode and IV Hydration/injection therapy?

Duration of Appointment

A single appointment for IV hydration should take approximately 60 minutes, including online consents(required to be completed prior to appointment). Most IV fluids infuse in approximately 40 minutes. There are exceptions to this, including how patent your veins are.

A vitamin injection or weight management injection appointment is approximately 15 minutes.

An event or Boost Party will take longer as we have several people receiving the service at the same time. Please keep this in mind when scheduling for an event or party.

Frequency of IV Hydration

You need to take into account your metabolism, as we each burn calories at a different rate. The faster your metabolism, the quicker you will “use up” your IV hydration, vitamins, minerals and amino acids. Most people benefit from an appointment every 4 weeks.

The IV Hydration Process

After you schedule your appointment, complete necessary the mandatory forms. New patients please show up to the appointment 15 minutes early!

• You will complete ALL legal forms – this is done yearly on line (COMPLETE PRIOR TO YOUR FIRST APPOINTMENT).
• You will complete your medical history – this is done yearly on line.
• Vital signs will be checked: if they are abnormal, it may be determined that you cannot get the IV hydration.
• IV access will be obtained. Make sure to drink plenty of fluids the 24 hours prior to your appointment to increase the probability of gaining IV access. Keep in mind, it may not be possible to obtain access. In this situation, you can reschedule. We will try to use methods to increase the chance of gaining IV access but even the BEST veins have bad days.
• The IV fluids will be connected.
• The vitamins, minerals and amino acids will be injected into the bag of fluids; any supplements requiring IV push will be completed. This is done according to State regulations.
• Sit back and relax while the IV hydration infuses – approximately 40 minutes. There are some ingredients that may take 90 minutes, but you will know this ahead of time.
• Once the fluids are complete, your IV is discontinued.
• Sign out and pay your final service fee.
• Schedule your next appointment!

The Injection Process

• This is scheduled ahead of time
• We will ask questions about how you are doing, feeling. Any new issues/conditions will be reviewed
• You will receive the appropriate injection according to the order written by our Nurse Practitioner
• Your visit will last approximately 15 minutes

The Weight Management Process

• Complete your Weight Management Consultation with our Nurse Practitioner
• An appointment will be scheduled for either your injection or your Health Counseling
• The appointment time and frequency will be determined by the Nurse Practitioner

The Health Counseling Process

• This is set up after a consultation with our Nurse Practitioner
• You will complete your on line consent forms PRIOR to the appointment
• Your visit will be done virtually unless otherwise determined
• Your visit will be 30-50 minutes depending on appointment need and plan as approved by our Nurse Practitioner
• This is a visit done on individulaized need- there is no alagorhytm. This visit is prepared by our NP according to your individulaized needs
