What can you expect if you’re new to Boost Mode?
Direct Primary Care
If you are not sure what direct primary care (DPC) is or if it is right for you, schedule a free 15 minute meet and greet with Tina Butt, FNP-C. If you are interested in DPC, we schedule for a 60 minute initial/annual appointment. This is a $99 fee.
You will then be set up for recurring monthly payments, as DPC is a membership model for healthcare. You can schedule an appointment as often as you feel necessary to meet your health needs, as these appointments are covered in your membership. Your appointments will typically be 30-60 minutes in length.
IV Vitamin Hydration
Appointment Duration
If you are not sure what service you need, schedule a New Consultation. You and the Nurse Practitioner will review your medical history and develop a plan specific to your needs. This consultation is approximately 50 minutes.
A single appointment for IV hydration should take approximately 60 minutes, including online consents which must be completed prior to your appointment. Most IV fluids infuse in approximately 40 minutes. There are exceptions to this, including how patent your veins are.
A vitamin injection or weight management injection appointment is approximately 15 minutes.
IV Hydration Frequency
Most people benefit from an appointment every 4 weeks. We’ll need to take into account your metabolism, as we each burn calories at a different rate. The faster your metabolism, the quicker you will “use up” your IV hydration, vitamins, minerals and amino acids.
IV Hydration Process
After you schedule your first appointment, please complete the necessary legal and medical history forms. New patients should arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment time.
- Vital signs will be checked. If they are abnormal, you may not be able to get the IV hydration.
- IV access will be obtained. Make sure to drink plenty of fluids in the 24 hours prior to your appointment to increase the probability of gaining IV access. We will try to use methods to increase the chance of gaining IV access but even the best veins have bad days.
- The IV fluids will be connected.
- The vitamins, minerals and amino acids will be injected into the bag of fluids. Any supplements requiring IV push will be completed. This is done according to State regulations.
- Sit back and relax while the IV hydration infuses (approximately 40 minutes). There are some intances that may take 90 minutes, but you will know this ahead of time.
- Once the fluids are complete, your IV is discontinued.
- Sign out, pay your final service fee, and schedule your next appointment!
Injection Process
- This is scheduled ahead of time.
- We will ask questions about how you are feeling. Any new issues or conditions will be reviewed.
- You will receive the appropriate injection according to the order written by our nurse practitioner.
- Your visit will last approximately 15 minutes.
Weight Management Process
- Complete your weight management consultation with our nurse practitioner.
- An appointment will be scheduled for either your injection or your Health Counseling or your Nurse Health Coaching.
- The appointment time and frequency will be determined.
Health Counseling/Coaching Process
- This is set up after a consultation.
- Complete your on line consent forms prior to the appointment.
- Your visit will be 30-50 minutes depending on appointment need and plan as discussed with your health coach.
- This is a visit done on individualized need as determined by your health coach. There is no set schedule.
